Provide cost control and planning for the company projects through clear, reliable and robust written project specific cost plans and controls.
Provide a project baseline budget.
Provide a risk register to identify and quantify financial and commercial risk to the project
Ensure that the above promote QHSE excellence.
Drive the implementation of Best Practice between cost, planning, procurement, DCC and estimating within the project.
Develop a database of estimates, costs, times and resources required to deliver a scope of work.
As required track progress (financial & schedule) against the baseline plan then review and highlight significant deviations.
Interface with the Project Planner to:
1/ Manage the change control process for project and work scope variation orders.
2/ Where necessary develop recovery/alternative plans through consultation with all parties.
3/ Assist in the development of the Project Schedule and level resource plans as required by any applied constraints (financial, operations, resource limited)
4/ Where necessary highlight the critical path, milestones, slipping and overdue tasks, over budget tasks
Develop where necessary a project cash flow analysis.
Assist in the development of a suite of project and operational financial planning KPIs to better manage the business.
