A rapidly growing downhole solutions company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to assist with upcoming projects.
Ideal Candidate
*Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferably Chartered Engineer)
*Able to work on own initiative, and with excellent leadership, team working and communications skills
*Knowledgeable about engineering downhole equipment, ideally 8-10 years practical and design experience. Familiar with relevant materials, design practices, etc.
*Able to lead product development through design, prototype build, testing and field trials.
What would be expected of you.
*Ability to lead a small engineering team and develop consistent work practices, design standards, document control, technical reports, etc. whilst also delivering hands-on contribution to designs
*Mentor staff, check drawings
*Close liaison with project managers
*Work will deliver timely and practical solutions for industry
*Advantage to have field experience and willing to travel (not offshore).
