Spencer Ogden are currently recruiting for Drilling Engineer to join an Operator with a number of exciting projects across Europe and Africa. This role will part of a newly developing team who are undertaking a new project in a new region. As a Drilling Engineer you will be assigned well projects and ensure that they are planned and engineered accordingly to ensure the wells deliver maximum value and safe and reliable cost.
Role:
Perform conceptual and pre-conceptual well designs
Mitigate risks to ensure well objectives are not compromised
Interface with G&G teams to ensure objectives are clearly defined
Perform well designs in compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with preparation of drilling programmes
Drive well service providers' to provide appropriate best practice solutions
Provide daily operational engineering support to rigsite teams
Candidate:
Degree Educated in an Engineering Discipline
Good Degree of Well Engineering Experience
Understanding of Subsea Drilling, Testing and Completion Programmes
Advanced Computer Literacy Skills
