Spencer Ogden are currently recruiting for a Senior Completion Engineer to join an International Service Company specialising in Project Manager across a range of disciplines. This role will be a senior member of the well engineering team, leading completion and well engineering activities within a specific geographic area.
Role:
Plan and direct completion and well engineering activities at office level and provide offshore engineering support
Cost / Risk analysis for completion, workover and intervention operations
Lead engineering design and operational plans for completion, workover and intervention operations
Define rig selection criteria and requirements
Participate in team meetings and strategy discussions
Monitor daily progress of jobs / projects
Well site supervision and / or engineering support at times
Participate in tender bid preparation process as needed for drilling and well engineering input
Participate in customer presentations and meetings as required
Manage career development and coaching of any direct reports
Candidate:
Degree Educated in an Engineering Disciplines
Previous Experience in Completion and Well Engineering
Both offshore and Onshore Experience
International Exposure
Deepwater and / or HPHT Experience
Familiar with Completion, Tubing, Flow and Well Design Softwares
