Spencer Ogden Hong Kong Office Expansion!

16 July 2013 - 11:07AM

Following the expansion of the London Office last month, Spencer Ogden has grown once again! Our Hong Kong office has moved to a larger site, with a capacity for 50 consultants. Kitted out in our signature Spencer Ogden style, the office cements Spencer Ogden's presence in Asia.

CEO David Spencer-Percival comments that “The rapid growth of the Hong Kong office is indicative of the important role we now play for many of the world’s largest energy companies, many of which have operations in Asia. The experience we brought to the region last year has already helped us place hundreds of skilled individuals in projects across Asia and we are looking forward to building on this successful track record with our expanding team.”

“Asia plays a key role in our international growth strategy. Hong Kong and neighbouring China are influential in the Oil & Gas, MiningNuclear and Renewables sectors, and are ideally placed to help us expand our reach into other parts of the continent.

The new space, created by Spencer Ogden’s Design Director, Bonita Bryg, follows the bold branding of the other offices, featuring Astroturf flooring and decadent meeting rooms that fuse modern styling with Asian tradition. Art covers the walls, from Pop Art prints of Chairman Mao to Chanel No.5 pieces.

Bryg explains the philosophy behind the design, “Our vision was to create a space that our employees would feel energised by and motivated to work in. We wanted to depart from the traditional office concept of cubicles and grey, dark shades as we want our staff to have fun while they work.”
